and windy for the first week I was here. Now the weather is back to what it normally is--sunny.During my time here I have got to see some people that I haven't seen in a long time. Namely, my sister, who traveled all the way from Las Vegas to see me, and Clayton and Dionitia. The pang of missing someone seems to dull after time. Then you reunite and realize just how much you still missed them. And it is so crushing to part ways again!
Unfortunately, Amy and I have dealt with that a lot during our time with the Navy. We have met many amazing people, some that we consider part of our family (Jeremy, Ivie, Jesse, Hector and Jhing, Clayton and Dionitia to name a few).As many of you know, Amy and I lived in San Diego from December 2004 until we left
for Japan in July 2006. During our year and-a-half here we grew to love San Diego. It was SO hard to leave it. Coming back for a month has really stirred up some nostalgia (and other emotions). We are at a much later chapter in our lives now since our additions to the family on March 24th of 2007. So, as much as it pains me to say this, San Diego may not be the city for us any more. BUT IT SURE WAS FUN TO VISIT!
